A friend of ours

The intent of TUP is to take a look at the national state of our nation.  The lack of systematic transparency in politics is a focal point of our mission and we earnestly look for and celebrate those who follow the same path as ours.

A very brief, biased outline of the GOP

The GOP (Grand Old Party), or the Republican Party, as the postmodern public knows it, is a driven, counter-cultural, and traditional machine in the political scene.  In this posting, I intend to outline the GOP as a “political” party, not as a governmental business.
To begin, “politics” NEEDS to be understood as the process by which groups of people make decisions.  It is an emotional and ideological noun that has the tendency to be confused with “government” which is the organization that is the governing authority of a political unit.  “Politics” …
