About
The Utopian Politico is a blog dedicated to the idea of “expression”. Expression has been a complicated, Western idea with complicated implications. Almost two decades prior to the American Revolution, dissenters of the British crown began to create hundreds and hundreds of pamphlets that spread the fire of rebel ion in the colonies. The writers of these pamphlets were not journalists, nor were they professional writers. Many of these people were laymen, up and down the East Coast, who yearned to be heard by the ruling party. The expression used by the eighteenth century man still harbors itself in the heart of man today.
The Utopian Politico is a blog by those who still wish to expression their estimation on the current ruling party, even in the vast inter-web landscape. The thought behind the name is as simple as one might think; the hopeful idealist. This is purpose to this blog; to hope for a better establishment and to help heed the laymen in our society.
The Utopian Politico is not anti-establishment, not for a particular party, not professional writing or journalism, nor is it a blog for belligerent thoughts.
The Utopian Politico is to be proactive and improve the dialogue amongst all classes of society and continue the “pamphlet” tradition expressed by so many before our time.
